INSTRUCTOR PROFILE
Instructor
Tony Parker is a
3rd
degree Black Belt.
He has been training in Tae Kwon-do for 13 years and is a former
Instructor of the Year.
Tony
began training in 1994 with
Senior
Instructor Ken James (5th Dan)
who remains to this day Tony’s own Instructor.
After
6 years of running Hastings TKD club on behalf of Mr James, Tony
started
Bexhill TKD
in 2005 and under his instruction Bexhill students have
successfully passed many gradings and won trophies in regional and
national tournaments.
Tony
is a qualified umpire and referee and officiates at
T.A.G.B
tournaments throughout the year. Although competing for many years
in competitions at sparring, patterns and destruction and winning
many medals and trophies, Tony now concentrates on training his
own students who wish to compete ( although he still cannot resist
entering the occasional sparring competition himself !).
Like
all
T.A.G.B
instructors Tony is a qualified and certificated
First Aider
and is
CRB
approved to enhanced level.
By
attending seminars and training regularly Tony stays true to the
Tae
Kwon-do ethic
which he is keen to pass on to his students.
